Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of deposit by bank transfer or PayPal payment.
On booking and paying for a class(es) you will receive a booking and payment confirmation by email or Facebook private message from Kids' Kitchen Facebook page.
If your circumstances changed and you are no longer able to attend the course you booked on, please let us know as soon as possible, via pm to Kids' Kitchen Facebook page or email to email@example.com.
Bookings are refundable up to one week of notice before the party/course/workshop/class/event.
These terms and conditions also relate to unfortunate cases of bad weather, sickness, grievance or accidental injury.
Please notify us of any change in the contact details provided as these will be used by Kids' Kitchen for all correspondence.
The menus posted on our website may be subject to variations if ingredients are not available. Occasionally we may have to cancel or postpone a class due to unavoidable circumstances or if a class is under-subscribed. In such a case we will notify all confirmed attendees as soon as possible and reschedule new dates.
Please let us know if you have any food allergies. We do not have nuts on site but we cannot guarantee that all ingredients are free from traces of nuts.
Parents' permission must be granted for photographs of children to be posted on Kids' Kitchen Facebook page and website.
Parents must complete a consent form before their child begins a cooking/baking activity. The parent who has booked a birthday party for their child must sign this form on arrival and should seek permission from the party guest's parents beforehand, for photographs of their children to be posted on Kids' Kitchen Facebook page or website.
Ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment and aprons are provided for all courses. Some meals are included in the course cost. Please see appropriate course details for further information.
We reserve the right to make amendments to course content and recipes without notice.
If you are unsure as to your child's skill requirements for a course, please contact us so we can help ascertain their level of experience before booking. We rely on parents being able to self assess their own child's skill level and are happy to assist with this but cannot be held liable if you book a course much higher or lower than their actual skill level. Please contact us if you are in doubt.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We cannot admit children to the cookery school without proper footwear. We recommend wearing sensible clothing i.e. not your best outfit. We are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing. Long hair must be tied back in the kitchen. All course participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing the course/class/party/workshop.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS, FOOD ALLERGIES & ILLNESS:
We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements unless you are booking a minimum of 10 places on the course. However, we will be happy to discuss course content beforehand to allow you to make your own alternative eating arrangements if necessary. There is no reduction in fee in this instance.
For food taken away from the cookery school, you will be told how to cook and store, we cannot take any responsibility for this.
