Simple Sweet & Sour

Keep the heat high while you are cooking this simple and delicious sweet and sour dish. If you like heat, add a few chilli flakes to spice things up a bit!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
300g raw chicken, beef or turkey strips
1 small onion
400g vegetable e.g. carrots, baby sweetcorn, mangetout
1 pepper, sliced
Finely grated zest and juice of 1 small orange
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon clear honey
2 teaspoons cornflour
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or crushed
1 inch ginger, finely grated
Cooked noodles or rice to serve
Method:
1 Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and brown the chicken, beef or turkey.
2 Add the onion and vegetables and continue to fry for about 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
3 Add in the garlic and stir.
4 Mix the orange zest and juice, soy sauce, honey, cornflour in a cup * and pour over the stir fry. Allow to bubble until thickened.
5 Serve with rice or noodles.
*Add a few chilli flakes if you want to spice it up!
